Results, elections, and new partnerships: how the 5th National Youth Forum took place

The 5th National Youth Forum of the NUYA brought together youth organizations from across the country to summarize their work, discuss challenges, and determine further steps for the development of the youth sector.

The forum became a meeting place for youth organizations from all over Ukraine. This year, it was particularly significant, as it was a reporting and election forum. Participants summarized their work, discussed the future of youth policy, and delegates approved amendments to the charter, adopted a declaration, and elected a new NUYA Board and a Control and Audit Council.

In total, the forum brought together more than 100 participants — representatives of organizations, youth workers, and partners. Over the course of three days, they joined discussions about the future of the youth sector, presented their achievements, discussed strategic directions for development, and got acquainted with NUYA member organizations and the activities of regional coalitions.

«The future is very uncertain, and it is difficult to plan during wartime. But this is where people who already hold that future in their hands have gathered. You are already making the country more democratic and open,

NUYA Executive Director

NUYA’s regional coalitions played a special role in the forum program. These teams have been developing cooperation between youth organizations in their regions for two years. They researched the needs of young people, conducted interregional exchanges, and formed partnerships between youth, authorities, and civil society.

The key event of the forum was the election of the new NUYA Board. Delegates from member organizations elected a team that will determine the further development of the network, strengthen youth policy advocacy, and promote cooperation between organizations in the coming years.
