On November 9, the NUMA Ternopil Region forum was held in Ternopil, bringing together representatives of youth organizations, councils, centers, and proactive young people from across the region. The event became a platform for members of the regional coalition to meet and discuss a common vision for the development of youth policy.

The forum brought together both experienced participants in the youth movement and those who are just starting out. Participants had the opportunity to discuss the formation of the coalition, share their own stories of getting to know NUMO, and outline the needs of young people in the region.

One of the key parts of the event was the election session, during which participants elected a coordinator, secretary, board members, and supervisory board members for the coalition. The newly elected team will work on the further development of the regional community and the implementation of initiatives for young people in the Ternopil region.

Participants joined in group work to analyze the NUMO Declaration. Discussing the twelve principles of the document, young people determined their relevance and practical application in the context of community development.

The final part was a creative workshop, during which teams visualized their vision of an ideal youth community. Using flipcharts, markers, and plasticine, participants modeled a space that corresponded to the principles of the declaration and the needs of young people. This work allowed them to move from theory to a practical understanding of possible transformations.

During the presentations, the importance of readiness for leadership and responsibility was emphasized.

The Ternopil coalition of NUMO continues to form an active community of young people working for the development of their communities. The regional team will continue to focus on supporting initiatives, building partnerships, and implementing decisions made at the forum.
