On November 2, the Rivne Region NUMO Forum was held in Rivne, bringing together active young people from the region, representatives of public organizations, youth councils, local government partners, and members of the regional coalition. The event was dedicated to summarizing the results of the year and planning the further development of youth policy in the region.
Participants from various communities in Rivne Region discussed the challenges, needs, and opportunities facing the youth movement. During the meeting, the teams shared their experiences of working with NUMO.
In particular, Natalka from Mizoch presented updates on the youth space, Eva Ganotska from Ostroh talked about working with young people in the community, and Andriy Tokarsky shared his first experience of coaching at a youth camp.
During the discussions, participants emphasized the importance of young people's agency:
«Young people are taken into account. People aged 14 and older have the right to influence. And this right is enshrined both at the community level and at the national level. I want you to use this right, because it is a right, not an obligation».

One of the central parts of the forum was the vote for the composition of the supervisory board, the board of directors, the coordinator, and the secretary of the coalition. The discussions touched on the role of regional coalitions in shaping youth policy and decisions that will determine the work of NUMO Rivne in 2025.
As part of the strategic part, participants worked in groups to analyze the NUMO Declaration, formulate proposals for future initiatives, and outline priority areas for the coalition's activities.
NUMO Executive Director Olena Podobied-Frankivska thanked the participants for their daily work:
«You are among those who want change not only for themselves but for the whole country. What you do every day is more than any of our international colleagues can imagine».
The forum confirmed the importance of teamwork and mutual support in the regional youth movement. NUMO Rivne has already taken the first steps towards forming a coalition in 2025 and continues to work on strengthening youth participation in the region's communities.
The organizers thanked all participants for their involvement and ideas, emphasizing their readiness to continue working together on new initiatives and projects.
