Ukraine now has its first certified youth information trainers — professionals who can train youth workers to provide high-quality information, offer guidance to young people, and help them access opportunities.
Representatives of the NUMO have completed international training by the ERYICA and are now certified to deliver official courses in youth information work. These courses cover youth information services, counselling support, digital youth information, international mobility, and the development of youth information centres.
The next step is to translate the training materials into Ukrainian and launch educational programmes for youth workers across the country.
In many European countries, youth information work is a distinct professional role, where young people can seek advice and support. In Ukraine, this field is still emerging, so the introduction of certified trainers creates an opportunity to develop it in a more systematic way.
It was incredibly valuable to see how colleagues from different countries work. Despite the different contexts, we use very similar tools, which showed us that youth work in Ukraine is already at a strong level

During the training, participants delivered micro-trainings, worked with online platforms, and received feedback from international peers. This experience helped them explore different approaches to youth education and bring back practices that can make learning programmes more interactive and adaptable.
