Biography

He joined Plast in October 1997 in Khmelnytskyi. He was a member of the «Wolves» group. In the summer of 1998, he took the Plast oath at the «Dnister» camp. In August 1999, he co-founded the S. Petliura Preparatory Youth Troop and was elected its first troop leader. He was named a scout in July 2000 at the «To the Heights» camp.

He was an activist in many Plast events, trips, and camps. He retired from active scouting in 2003.

With the start of the full-scale invasion, he became a volunteer. Until August 2022, he served in the Avangard volunteer formation, and then in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in the 53rd Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Volodymyr Monomakh. He died on March 17, 2023, near the village of Vodyane in the Donetsk region while rescuing a wounded comrade.

He was awarded the Iron Plast Cross.
