Biography

He joined Plast in the late 1990s, Kyiv branch. Member of the UPS troop No. 45 «Order of the Iron Spike» named after Sviatoslav the Conqueror.

He was a scoutmaster in the «Swallows» troop in 2001–2004 in Kotsyubynske.

He actively organized training for educators and held leadership positions in Plast. He headed the interregional commission on military scouting in 2002–2006. For many years, he was an advisor to the Head of the KPS on cooperation with the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other law enforcement agencies. He was a member of the leadership of the military scouting department. He was passionate about parachuting, developed the motorcycle movement, and headed the National Association of Motorcyclists of Ukraine. In 2013–2014, he actively participated in the Revolution of Dignity and was a member of the 15th Maidan Self-Defense Hundred. He helped develop the military-patriotic game «Sokil» («Dzhura»).

In 2023–2024, he joined the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense and commanded several units involving foreign volunteers.

He participated in the defense of Zmiinyi Island.

He died on approximately May 12, 2024, in the Vovchansk area during an operation to stop the Russian Armed Forces' breakthrough in the Kharkiv region, as the commander of an assault group, covering the retreat of his comrades. Due to the difficult situation, it was not possible to evacuate the body.

He was awarded the Iron Plast Cross by decision of the State Security Bureau on January 23, 2025 (protocol No. 68).
