Biography
Born into a family of doctors. Graduated from Ripky Secondary School No. 2. Received higher education at the Faculty of History at the T.G. Shevchenko National University «Chernihiv Collegium.»
She joined Plast with her daughter Yulia in 2021, where she became a clerk at the Chernihiv station.
She participated in many station events, was a mentor and clerk at the «Expedition 2022» camp, which took place in Bukovina in the village of Makarivka, using the Plast methodology for children affected by war. On October 5, 2022, she joined the UPS «Steppe Witches» troop as a supporter.
From October 22 to 23, 2022, she participated in the qualification training for full membership No. 244 «Mission Achievable» of the Lviv District. She took the Plast oath in October 2023 at the Baturyn Fortress during the «Ashes of Baturyn» training, where she was already a soldier at the time.
She served as an assistant in the «Falcons» novice group and later briefly became the chief organizer, but due to her conscription into the army, she was forced to stop her educational activities.
She was passionate about music and Ukrainian historical rituals.
Since 2008, she worked as a researcher and then as a senior researcher at the Hryhorii Galagan Chernihiv Regional Art Museum, most recently holding the responsible position of chief curator of the museum's collections.
With the start of the full-scale Russian invasion and the attack on Chernihiv, she and her daughter moved to the museum to protect the exhibits in case of looting.
In February 2023, she became a medic in the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade. She is a junior sergeant. As a combat medic, she took part in the battles for the Kharkiv region.
In January 2025, for her services to Ukraine, she received the Order of Courage from the President of Ukraine as a medic of the brigade's 1st assault battalion. For «proving her dedication and bravery by saving her comrades on the front line.»
She died on the night of August 6, 2025, together with two comrades on the front line while performing a combat mission as a result of an enemy drone attack near the village of Novoyegorivka, Svatovsky district, Luhansk region.
She is survived by her 15-year-old daughter Yulia and her parents.
