Biography

He joined Plast in approximately 2013. At first, he belonged to the «Sea Seals» group, and later moved to the «Phoenixes» group in the then preparatory hut named after Ye. Podolyanchuk (now hut No. 113). He was the hut's clerk. He took the Plast oath on July 5, 2015. He was an active participant in Plast trips, camps, competitions, and events.

With the start of the full-scale Russian invasion, he stood up to defend Ukraine. While participating in combat operations in 2022, he was wounded.

He was the commander of a mechanized company of the mechanized battalion of the 110th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after General Mark Bezruchko. While carrying out a combat mission, he and his group fell into an enemy trap. To save the lives of his comrades, he gave the order to retreat, while he himself remained at his position until the last moment and repelled the enemy attack, as a result of which he was killed on January 29, 2024, near the city of Avdiivka in the Donetsk region. After that, he was formally considered missing for more than two months until his body was evacuated.

During his military service, while performing combat missions, he received the «For the Defense of Ukraine» award, two «For the Defense of Avdiivka» awards, and the Order of Courage, III degree.
