Biography

Since 2008, he has been a member of the «White Wolves» Plast group of the Petro Poltava preparatory troop in the village of Hai, Brody district. He has participated in Plast camps, a number of trips, and events. He was actively involved in Plast until approximately 2013.

In his youth, he was fond of drawing. He then went on to study at the I. Kozhedub National Air Force University in Kharkiv. After graduating, he served in a military aviation unit in Chuhuiv, Kharkiv region. He was a captain and commander of a helicopter unit in the military unit's helicopter squadron.

With the start of the full-scale Russian invasion, together with his comrades, he transported equipment and all the unit's technology from the Kharkiv region to the safer Lviv region.

There he worked in a training aviation brigade. He carried out combat flights and participated in combat operations.

On August 30, 2024, while performing a training flight as part of a two-person crew of a Mi-2 helicopter, he crashed in the Lviv region (the exact location is not disclosed for security reasons). As a result, both crew members were killed.

He was buried with military honors on September 3, 2024, in his native village of Hai, Brody community, Lviv region.
