Biography

Plast scout in Stryi. Later, he joined the Tigers group in the 25th R. Shukhevych troop. He participated in Plast activities, trips, and rock climbing training.

From the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion, he joined the ranks of the Volunteer Territorial Community Formation, and in March 2023, he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. On March 26, 2023, he took the military oath.

After completing officer training, he was promoted to second lieutenant in June 2023, and in July 2024, he became a lieutenant. He was seriously wounded in battle, but after treatment, he returned to the front lines. For his courage and dedication in defending Ukraine, he was awarded the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine's «For Wounds» departmental award and the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine's «Silver Cross» honorary breastplate.

He was the commander of the 1st reconnaissance platoon of the reconnaissance company of the 33rd Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was killed while performing a combat mission on July 30, 2024, near the village of Pobeda in the Donetsk region. His body was transferred to his hometown only in early November 2024. He was buried with military honors on November 6, 2024, at the Stryi cemetery.
