Biography

Since 1990, he has been a member of the Mats'kyi Plast group, 13th O. Dovbush Troop. Participant in the «Tomakivska Sich» trip to mark the 500th anniversary of the Zaporizhzhia Cossacks (Kapulivka village, 1990), the first Plast camps in Ternopil region «Lysonia-1» (1991) and «Call of the Knights» (1992). Active participant in the winter camp and Spring Festival in 1993, numerous trips and events.

After the open Russian invasion in March 2022, he volunteered for the army. He was a fighter in the 10th assault company «Sprut» of the special unit «Kraken» of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. He took part in the battles for Kyiv Oblast. On October 12, 2023, near the village of Ivanivka, Kupianskyi District, Kharkiv Oblast, while attempting to retrieve the body of a comrade, he engaged in combat with a superior enemy force. Having nearly destroyed it, he died at 5:07 a.m. from a fatal wound. His body remains in the field due to constant shelling and is formally considered missing in action.
