Biography

He joined Plast in March 1995. In 1996–1997, he was a mentor for the Sokoly group and, at the same time, a clerk for the Kyiv branch of Plast. In 1998–2000, he was the leader of the «Zhuravli» group. Together with the group, he created the Bohdan Khmelnytsky Preparatory Camp for Young Men. He is a participant, instructor, and organizer of many Plast camps and events.

He is active in the social and spiritual life of the capital. He is the founder of the Kyiv Youth Orthodox Brotherhood in honor of the holy princes Boris and Gleb. He organizes trips and excursions to historical sites and pilgrimages to spiritual shrines. He was an active participant in the Orange Revolution and the Revolution of Dignity.

After the full-scale Russian invasion in the spring of 2022, he volunteered for the army. He joined the 49th separate assault battalion «Carpathian Sich» within the structure of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

He took part in battles for Kyiv and Luhansk regions, for the city of Lyman in Donetsk region, and also fought in the Kupiansk direction of Kharkiv region.

He died on June 9, 2024, in the village of Vilshana, Dvorichanska settlement community, Kupiansk district, Kharkiv region, as a result of a direct hit by a shell on the dugout where he was located.
