Biography

Taras has been involved in civic activism since 2002. From 2005 to 2012, he was the head of the Rivne branch and a member of the central leadership of the MNC, as well as the head of the Active Youth NGO. He joined Plast in 2005 in Ostroh and rejoined in 2012 in Rivne. He is a senior member of the 15th Plast troop, «Order of the Iron Ostrog», named after Sviatoslav the Conqueror. He is an educator and instructor at many camps, as well as the founder and editor-in-chief of the independent news website «Goryn.info».

«The last time we saw Taras was at the Regional Plast Congress. As the troop's liaison officer, he was part of the delegation from Rivne. He came from the front, on leave. He was an extremely conscientious and modest man. He was a blood donor for many years. On September 29 this year, he got engaged.
