Biography

He was a member of the Ternopil branch of the MNC, a multiple participant and squad leader in the Gurby-Antonivtsi game, and took part in the Revolution of Dignity.

From June 16, 2014, he participated in the ATO and was the commander of a mortar platoon of the 51st Separate Mechanized Brigade. On July 25, 2014, refusing to surrender, he attempted to break through to the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and was killed in battle. He was posthumously awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine with the Order of the Golden Star.

In 2015, «Gurby-Antonivtsi» was dedicated to the memory of Volodymyr, where members of the MNC presented his family with the «For Extreme and Combat Actions» award, which is awarded only to active members of the MNC for special merits.
