Biography

He joined Plast in July 2002. He was a group leader and liaison officer for the S. Petliura preparatory camp in Khmelnytskyi. He participated in the 2002 Jubilee Interregional Plast Meeting in Svirzh, Lviv Region. He was involved in community activities in his hometown. Over the past 10 years, he has developed the game «Dzhura» in the Khmelnytskyi region. For some time, he was the head of the regional leadership of the Youth Congress of Ukrainian Nationalists.

In 2019, he volunteered for the 106th Separate Brigade of Territorial Defense of the city of Khmelnytskyi. From the first days of the full-scale invasion, he became a soldier. He held the rank of junior sergeant. While serving in various positions in the territorial defense, he decided to transfer to the Azov regiment and take part in the fighting in eastern Ukraine. He was killed in action by enemy artillery fire in the Bakhmut direction.

«Patriotic, optimistic, uncompromising. He was an excellent organizer of the youth movement. And he was very nervous before public events, which he often held. He masked this nervousness with (seemingly excessive) amounts of coffee. He believed in the Idea of the Nation and high ideals. But lately, he also found satisfaction in organizing sport fishing competitions. Such people move the gray world, adding color to it...» recalls the fallen Hero's friend Oles Vetryany.
