Biography

In 1992, he joined the Ukrainian Youth Association in Ukraine, where he actively participated in the organization’s events: the «Desnyanski Khvili» camp (1992), camps in Deliatyn (1994–95), and the World SUM Gathering, which took place in Lviv in 1995. He also participated in the SUM Senior Youth Camp in Berezove and the international traveling camp «Along the Kholodny Yar Trails» in 1997. From the start of the Revolution of Dignity on the Maidan, he became an active participant in the Maidan protests in Cherkasy Oblast, joined the Right Sector, and organized checkpoints and their patrols.

In May 2014, he volunteered for the «Aidar» battalion, where he served as commander of the reconnaissance group of the «Kholodny Yar» unit, acting as commander of the town of Shchastya in Luhansk Oblast. He was killed on July 7, 2014, by a bullet fired by a separatist criminal near the town of Shchastya in Luhansk Oblast. He was posthumously awarded the Order «For Courage» (3rd class), the honorary distinction «For Merit to Cherkasy Region,» and the special distinction «Iron Cross.»
